Tara began her love for theatre at Centerville High School.
In her freshman year, Tara auditioned for The Crucible, but ended up joining the drama club at her high school in Centerville, Ohio.
In her junior and senior years, Tara joined a technical theatre block class to prepare for college, where she learned about lighting and sound designs, how to build and design sets, as well as production management.
Her first production was working as a Property Mistress in The Diary of Anne Frank. During her senior year, she worked on a production of The Odd Couple, a unique show experience where there was three scenic sets in different time periods, three different casts, and three production teams. It was the biggest learning experience and her proudest production to work in thus far.
While studying in her theatre block class, she worked at Sinclair Community College on the set for Once On This Island. At Sinclair Community College, her first official show was working as the Production Assistant for The Crucible, a production where she met prospective Vertigo™ employee, William Courson. The following year, she worked as the Assistant Stage Manager for a production of Almost, Maine in addition to William Shakespeare’s The Taming of The Shrew.
Tara relocated from Ohio to join the Vertigo team in July, 2014. Vertigo, she claims, is a place where she has built up lasting friendships and a new outlook in the theatre world.
In her spare time, Tara enjoys gaming, crafting, and art. She hopes in the future to have the opportunity of traveling the world.
