Jazmin Pratscher was born and raised in Aurora Illinois. Her first job was working in construction and selling houses throughout Illinois and Missouri, when she first realized she enjoyed creating with her very own hands.
After working in construction, she started to look around for her next project and ended up in Evanston, the city where she discovered theatre. After working professionally for several years, Jazmin was admitted to Northern Illinois University’s School of Theatre and Dance in the spring of 2016 and fell in love with the art form.
Since her theatre career began, Jazmin had the opportunity to work professionally around the Greater Chicagoland area and for Charlottesville Opera in Charlottesville, VA. She has had the opportunity to work on various productions, such as Oklahoma!, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, Le Nozze di Figaro, Rigoletto, Hair, South Pacific, Middlemarch in Spring (East Coast Premiere), Cosi Fan Tutti, and My Fair Lady.
In her spare time, Jazmin enjoys teaching the next generation of technicians. When she’s not teaching, you will find her searching her next show to work on.
