Christine Walker Guelde
Christine has been working in the accounting field since 1998, and is the type of person that enjoying recreating the lines for small businesses and helping them achieve their financial goals.
Before joining Vertigo™ in December, 2015, Christine’s prior work experience included working in manufacturing, small businesses, and the nonprofit realm, she once sat on a board of directors for a small nonprofit child care center for four and a half years.
She has an Associate’s degree from Kishwaukee Community College in graphic design, and later earned her Associate’s of Science in accounting. During her studies, she worked as an accounting and math tutor before earning her Bachelor of Science in accounting at Rockford University.
Christine was first introduced to theatre at age 10 when her mother took her to a production of The Nutcracker at the Woodstock Opera House. Growing up, she took an active part in her high school’s theatre program, helping paint sets, moving scenery, and being part of the sound and lighting design team. Her favorite production that she’s seen is Les Miserables.
When she finds enough time away from work, Christine enjoys gardening, outdoor activities like boating and fishing, and creating new things. If she could find more spare time, she would love to read more.
